Construction Managers

As a Jobsite Foreman, you will play a crucial role in driving projects to a successful completion while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. If this sounds like a fit for you, we invite you to join our growing family.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise crews to ensure top-quality workmanship, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.

  • Coordinate crew activities, including scheduling tasks, job site coordination, and overseeing equipment and material deliveries.

  • Interface with on-site crews, subcontractors, inspectors, customers, project managers, and owners to resolve issues and ensure quality and safety.

  • Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, ensuring a smooth flow of information.

  • Take initiative and anticipate project needs.

  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools; assist with manual labor when needed. Operate heavy equipment as necessary.

  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures related to safety and proper reporting.

  • Document daily activities including but not limited to; job hazard forms, toolbox talks, equipment time reporting, and work orders.

  • Read and interpret job site blueprints with the guidance of project management.

  • Proper field maintenance of equipment and coordination with the shop manager for necessary repairs and periodic maintenance. All equipment should be kept clean and in good working order.

  • Adhere to all applicable codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Minimum of 3 years of excavation experience (leadership experience preferred).

  • Proficient in operating all types of excavation equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

  • Strong mathematical abilities for interpreting blueprints, surveys, and job specifications.

  • Positive work ethic with a can-do attitude.

  • Effective communication and the ability to work within a team.
